My son and I saw this snake on an outing this past weekend. It was fired up that we were near and eventually it slid off into the grass.

Ken - I'm confused, where are the hands to this snake that you were so vividly describing?
It was safe we milked its venom before I took this shot. No really, it was at a "safe" distance. Getting close made it exciting.
As for the hands, I'll chalk that up to the wonders of photo editing on these here modern computers!
